To counter child obesity and lack of physical activity, this sports related product has been developed. "Animate" is an electronic device that integrates children's fascination with video games with a movement element to motivate them to participate in physical activity. Such activity is recorded with sensors and saved as playing credits (reward), which can be used to improve ones avatar (personal playing character) skill level when playing games in an urban landscape.
